Methodology
Every page is generated from structured records: a requirement profile per job, a feature registry, product records with sourced features and pricing, industry and rule records. Each factual field carries a source URL and a verified date. A claim with no field behind it is not published.
Qualifying products
A product is tracked for a job when one of its tool types matches the job's tool types or it lists the job. It qualifies when every required feature is included or available as an add-on. On industry pages, the industry's required features are added as hard filters.
Fit score
Required features passed divided by total required features.
Effective monthly cost
For each sizing input we take the cheapest applicable plan: price times the plan's unit (users, calls, minutes, messages, numbers, channels, lookups or verifications), plus any base fee and overage beyond included volume. Add-ons whose required_for lists the job are added. Where a page sizes by calls, minutes are estimated at 3 per call; where it sizes by users, trunk channels are estimated at one per 3 users.
Crossover thresholds
For each decision guide we compute the cheapest qualifying product's monthly cost for each option across a range of the guide's variable and report the volume where the two curves cross. When the curves never cross, or either option has no priced product, the threshold is not shown.
Alternatives
Overlap combines shared qualifying use cases (50%), shared tool types (30%) and being in the same price band (20%).
Publish gates
A page that fails its gate is still reachable but carries noindex and is left out of the sitemap. Products still in review (drafts) never count toward any gate.
